Report to Osprey Hall upon arrival so that you can check into registration and get your lodging key and/or assignment.

Lodging is about a half-mile walk from the Osprey Hall where the conference activities and meals will occur.

We have reserved cabins 45 through 56 and five campsites in the Lewis Point Camping Loop for conference attendees. You can download the park map here: Lake Bastrop South Shore Park Map

The conference will provide dinner on Friday and Saturday night, as well as coffee, tea, and water. Each attendee is responsible for providing their own food for breakfasts and lunches on Saturday and Sunday.

  • Bedding for a twin bed (sheets, pillow, blankets), or a sleeping bag
  • Extra blankets (these come in handy if your cabin is cooler than you prefer)
  • Ear plugs and a sleeping mask if you're a light sleeper.
  • Towels and toiletries (don't forget sunscreen!)
  • A folding chair for meetings/workshops, and to lounge on the porch of your cabin
  • A reusable coffee mug and water bottle
  • Flashlight
  • Journal and pens
  • An instrument to join in jam sessions and the drum circle
  • A cooler with food and drinks for your breakfast and lunch, dinner will be provided on both Friday and Saturday

  • Each cabin sleeps 4 adults in bunk style beds.
  • Cabins are very basic, with electricity, outside water spigot, heat and A/C, ceiling fans, a grill, and firepit
  • No attached restroom, the restroom facilities are a short walk from the cabins
  • Cabins are approximately a half-mile walk from the Osprey Hall.
  • Each cabin or campsite only has 2 parking spots. If your group has more than 2 cars, the extra cars will have to stay parked at the Osprey Hall or another parking lot in the park.
  • Cabins are grouped in several small groupings. Each grouping will have a designated "lights out," so that attendees can choose their preferred grouping. We will also do our best to have designated cabins for folks who snore, smoke, etc...
  • Campsites are available for tent camping or an R.V., and may sleep up to 8 people.

  • Attendees can select their own cabin mates if they want to bunk together.
  • At registration, you can get your cabin key and tell the registration chair which members will be in your cabin with you.
  • If you don't have predetermined cabin mates, you will be assigned a cabin and you can inform us if you have any preferences like early lights out or no smoking, etc.

  • Each lodging site has a fire pit, a grill, a picnic table and electricity available. The camp store sells ice and firewood. Please be prepared to store, chill, and prepare any food you bring without a kitchen setup in the meeting hall.
  • Dinner on both Friday and Saturday evenings will be provided in the Osprey Hall. (There will be vegetarian options available, however please contact us if you have an allergy or medical dietary restrictions.)
  • BYOF: Bring your own food for breakfast and lunch on Sat and Sun. You're also welcome to bring snacks. Keep in mind there is no refrigerated storage available, so you will need to bring a cooler if you bring food that needs to stay cold.
  • We will not be providing bottled/filtered water. However, the tap water at the park is safe to drink.
  • If you are staying in a cabin, you will have electricity and are welcome to bring a coffee maker or other small appliances.

  • The weather in Central Texas in November can be unpredictable. Check the weather forecast before you come and pack accordingly! Our meeting spaces are covered but you may want to bring an umbrella if rain is forecast.
